Ulysses is an award-winning photojournalist for the Baltimore Sun; he creates striking images from news & sports assignments, films & edits documentary-style natural sound packages & shares those stories in compelling ways from the Sun’s social media accounts.
At the Philip Merrill College of Journalism, he was the first undergraduate multi-platform student to join the award-winning ViewFinder storytelling team. He was also the editor-in-chief of The PublicAsian & co-founded the University of Maryland, College Park’s chapter of the National Press Photographers Association.
When he’s not making movies at work, you’ll probably find him watching one. He’ll often go by Uly because people have had a hard time pronouncing ‘Ulysses’ his entire life. The ñ in his last name is incredibly important to remember. And above all else: please know that Taco Bell is better than Chipotle.
